About Us

Tips 4 Teens, Inc. was established in 2002 to remove academic barriers for underserved, at-risk students. Our goal is to enable families to take charge of their lives, boost students' academic performance, decrease the rates of school dropouts, teenage pregnancies, delinquency, and substance abuse, and provide support for students who wish to pursue higher education.  Tips 4 Teens has been serving the Metro Atlanta area since 2010, providing valuable services to the young members of the community. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Tips 4 Teens is dedicated to positively impacting the community by helping students overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.

 

We take a holistic approach to empowering the next generation, considering all aspects of a student's life. In collaboration with families, school districts, higher education institutions, industry, non-profits, and community organizations, we offer a range of evidence-based programs. These programs include tutoring, social-emotional development, college and career exploration, and other hands-on experiences that prepare students for success in all areas of life. At Tips 4 Teens, we believe that children's success and the strength of the community are inseparable. Therefore, we strive to address their needs together to break the cycle of generational poverty and provide our kids with a real shot at the American dream.
